New here!

It seemed a little quiet around here, so I thought I'd chime in.

I'm sure most you have run by The Ladder Theory at one point or another.

Well the dames over in feminist seemed quite irked at their recent discovery of said theory, and threw out such scathing remarks as, "this is the worst thing I've ever seen!" and something to the effect of "how can it be a theory when he has no empirical proof?" (because obviously the author was serious about it being a real theory.)

Further drama ensues when a member of the message boards over at the LT site confronts the original poster with a comment to her journal, which she posts to the community and encites further fury that the guy dare call her a "broad." Then some other random debate over the use of the term "hissy fit."

Seriously people, can we be just a wee bit more uptight?

The author is a fucking crybaby "nice guy" type who seems to be lamenting the fact that he can't get chicks.

But the worst thing ever? Get some fucking priorities, idiot.
The ladder theory should be taken as seriously as South Park.
He's got more of a sense of humor about it than you give him credit for.
This might also interest you. I happen to like the rhyme, even though the issue's not cheery.
Wow, I can't get over the fact futurebird is one of the few who makes sense in that thread.

And they can call it what they will, but when I started approaching any situation with a guy knowing in the back of my mind his goal was to get ass, I find 9 times out of 10 I was right, and it kept me out of a lot of awkward situations.
